Past

Last year (2002), after completing the Cambridge Course in English Proficiency and my Chemistry course, I had about a months summer holiday which I spent in the French Alps with my father and my sister.
Since September 1st I went back to school again, but this time at the University of Southern Denmark, where I am studying Bioinformatics.

And of course, my work has been degraded to a parttime job, in favour of my studies.
If you are interested, you can read my past exam results.

English

I had somewhat of a bad conscience concerning my English. My heritage suggests that I must be a native speaker, but until I started the Diploma Course In Advanced Computer Studies I had never used my spoken English actively having lived in Denmark my entire life.
By attending an English course on a high level I have raised my standard of both written and spoken English remarkably.
Composed of written and oral tests the Cambridge Proficiency exam is one of the most comprehensive English tests available.

Chemistry

The chemistry course, together with my exam papers from high school, was my entrance ticket for studying bioinformatics at Odense University.

On April 19th 2002 I graduated the Diploma Course in Advanced Computer Studies at Niels Brock Business College Copenhagen.
My final project was the development of a webbased benchmarking tool BYG Copenhagen.

eXtreme Programming, eXtreme Project Management and Rapid Prototyping was our major methods during the project. As preparation we did a Study Report on XP in November. You can view and download it here.

December 2001 I wrote a report on Neural Networks for my exam in January. You can download it here. If you are interested in Neural Networks and would like some links do not hesitate to contact me.

I went to high school in Virum, north of Copenhagen. Before high school I went to school first at Ulrikkenborg skolen, which is now closed, and then Virum skole.
I have always gotten fine grades, but through most of my school time I have been lacking the motivation to study. But when thinking of the school as dull and boring, I remember my fathers words (yes, he probably quoted from somewhere else):

"Don't let school interfere with your education"

And thus I have passed on the wise words...
