Programmers block

It is like a writers block, except it is for programming in particular. It can be described as a mental block against programming for certain projects or a specific programming language, whereas at the same time there may be no sign of a general writers block or even programming block for other programming languages or for programming on other projects.

Programming for music

I am currently working in my spare time on a web project for Roskilde Festival which I volunteered for through the Roskilde Festival homepage. In return, on top of the honour of having contributed to the smooth execution of the best music festival in Europe, I get a free ticket to the festival.

The festival has lots of positions for volunteers every year, you can find them by checking out their website under 'jobs'.

Literate programming

It is never too late to add more good habits to your programming. Now I have installed ESS (Emacs Speaks Statistics) and I will use Sweave to document my R results.

More on good habits, read about Reproducible Research and Programming, and this introduction to Sweave.
